GIANTS RISING tells the epic tale of the redwoods, the tallest and some of the oldest beings on Earth. Revealing the mysterious inner-workings of these majestic trees, the film also recounts the saga of our ever-evolving relationship with these silent giants. Living links to the past, coast redwoods hold superpowers that may impact our future — like their ability to withstand fire and capture carbon, and offer clues about longevity and resilience. Spending time among redwoods can enhance our well-being in countless ways, and even make us more cooperative and compassionate.
