Located in the heart of Mexico City, Papalote is one of the largest and most beloved children’s museums in Latin America. It’s a place where multi-generational visitors can “touch, play and learn,” which is the museum’s motto. Working in collaboration with Weldon Exhibits, Tangent developed content and directed the creation of more than two dozen multimedia interactives as part of Papalote’s major renovation. The content, interpretive and physical layout are organized into thematic zones in which visitors are invited to explore the human body, Mexico’s natural history, family connections, communities, city life, and a maker space.
